Today I got to tour a new part of the Presidio Park in San Francisco, where I will be creating some public art in collaboration with other BIPOC artists! I’m super excited about this opportunity. I’ve done two major public art projects, and my dream has always been to do an outdoor space.
I am 1 of 13 individuals invited by Parks Conservancy, National Park Service, and Presidio SF staff to be an Activator. I am part of an inaugural cohort of Presidio Activators and will play an important role in shaping the upcoming new part of the park – the Presidio Tunnel Tops – so that it feels like an inclusive and welcoming place.
